Where to grab a drink in Downtown Brooklyn!

Downtown Brooklyn is home to some of New York’s best bars and restaurants. Keep scrolling to check out our list of favorite bars and happy hour spots around the neighborhood!

Whatever Forever | 590 Fulton Street
New to Gotham Market at The Ashland, Whatever Forever serves great-tasting and affordable food and drinks perfect for a night out with friends — or even solo.

House of Wax | 445 Albee Square West
You’ve never been to a bar like House of Wax. Based on the panoptical attractions of the 1800s, this bar is home to all things macabre, including life-size displays of anatomy and death masks of famous characters. Open every day from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Kimoto Rooftop | 216 Duffield Street
Located at the top of the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Brooklyn is Kimoto rooftop beer garden! Happy hour is from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on weekdays, so be sure to drop by after work! They also have food and smaller bites to pair with your view of NYC.

Fulton Hall | 250 Ashland Place
This American beer hall and kitchen focuses on the sale of locally-produced beer and hand-crafted pub fare. Their happy hours are Monday through Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, but they’re open seven days a week.

The Rockwell Place |31 Rockwell Place
Opened by the owners of the award-winning Long Island Bar in 2018, The Rockwell Place serves up a mean cocktail that complements their food menu. Open Wednesdays to Sunday from 5:00 PM to midnight.

Las Santas | 572 Fulton Street
Mexican kitchen and bar Las Santas hosts happy hours Monday-Fridays from 4:00 to 6:00 PM with $8 Margarita and Sangrias, $7 Wine, and $5 Beer! They also have special deals on their nachos, quesadillas, and tacos!

Sunken Harbor Club | 372 Fulton St.
Located on the second floor of Gage and Tollner, this part sunken galleon, part Victorian-era explorers’ club is also an immersive tropical cocktail bar. They’re open Wednesdays through Sundays from 5:00 PM until midnight.

Livingston Manor | 42 Hoyt St
Small-town vibes prevail at this cocktail bar. They have unique spirits, cocktails, beers, and charcuterie boards for a low-key and unique night out. Their in-house sandwich shop, Molto Stretto, is not to be missed.

Understudy | Dekalb Market Hall, 445 Albee Square West
Understudy is a speakeasy-style cocktail bar located in City Point. Happy hour includes specialty cocktails, beer, and a wide wine selection from Wednesdays to Saturdays, 4:00 to 7:00 PM!

Circa Brewing Co. | 141 Lawrence St
On Thursdays from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Circa hosts Happy hour, featuring $5 beers, $6 well drinks, and $7 wine! Stop by Circa for specialty beers brewed in-house!

Junior’s | 386 Flatbush Avenue Extension
Brooklyn icon Junior’s does, indeed, have a bar. Walk right in and request your favorite drinks — and maybe a slice of cheesecake, too.

Pollo D’Oro | 306 Gold Street
Swing by Pollo D’Oro for some socializing at their full-service bar! Choose from classics like Pina Coladas to more unique drinks like the Peruvian Mule.

KUUN | 290 Livingston Street
Local Korean eatery KUUN has happy hour specials on both their food and drinks! Everyday, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, enjoy $3 off their draft beers, mimosas, soju, and rice wines! Korean fried chicken encouraged as a side.

Ace Hotel Brooklyn | 252 Schermerhorn Street
Everything about the Ace Hotel — from its lobby to its suites, to even its bar — marries the pragmatic with the romantic, the private with the collective and the old world with the future. Their ground floor bar and lounge features grown up cocktails and a great atmosphere.
