Downtown Brooklyn Partnership (DBP) invites technology companies and startups to pilot innovative solutions in our public spaces.
What is Living Lab?
DBP partners with technology groups to test smart city solutions that address operational and quality-of-life challenges in urban parks and public spaces. Selected participants will use DBP-operated streets and plazas as real-world testing grounds for their technologies.
Previous examples include:
Swiftmile provided secure e-battery charging stations throughout the city, including a station at Willoughby St and Jay St for a group of 100 delivery workers.
Coord is a curb management platform. Through their AR technology, Coord collected curb space usage data that helped us develop improved street planning interventions.
