Us v. Them: Celebrating Silent Barn (Roulette Benefit)
To mark the occasion of Ronen Givony’s new book, Us v. Them: The Age of Indie Music and a Decade in New York (2004-2014), Roulette presents a two-night event highlighting the Brooklyn music scene and DIY community of the early aughts.
Night one celebrates the DIY venue Silent Barn with performances by David Longstreth (Dirty Projectors), Haley Fohr (Circuit des Yeux), Mal Devisa, Mutual Benefit, and the Wordless Music String Quartet, preceded by a short discussion and reading from Us v. Them (panelists to be announced).
