Screenings:
- 7/30: Dark Toons | From ghost towns to fever dreams, these animated tales stretch the imagination and snap it back with a shiver. Uncanny, offbeat, and hauntingly tender, this is where dark humor and darker truths collide.
- 8/6: Shahid | A clever, genre-bending film mixing reality, fiction, theatre, and music. Director Narges Shahid Kalhor casts and actor as a version of herself, determined to shed the name “Shahid” (martyr).
- 8/13: There Was, There Was Not | The first line of every Armenian fairy tale, There Was, There Was Not tells the collective myth of a homeland lost forever – and four women’s resistance to that loss.
