DTBK NYC Marathon Mile 8 Cheering Station

Join us at Mile 8 of the NYC Marathon to cheer on the fearless runners taking on the 26.2-mile challenge, with music and treats! Downtown Brooklyn cowbells will be provided for even more enthusiastic encouragement. Here’s what’s happening:

9:30 am

Coffee Project NY will be serving a hot cup of brew for your morning cheer!

10:00 am – 11:45 am

L Train Brass Band, a modular collective of over 110 brass, reed, and percussion musicians, will make the plaza roar with their incredible range and funky repertoire.

11:45 AM – 1:30 PM

Batalá, the all women Afro-Brazilian percussion ensemble, brings dynamic energy and a joyful percussive experience to the plaza.
