Craft & Release 009: Endings

Join Ace Hotel Brooklyn for an evening of live storytelling with Craft & Release where 6 writers will take the stage to share their narratives about being ENDINGS.

Craft & Release is a community for artists across mediums to sharpen their skills, share their stories and connect with fellow makers. Founded on the premise that our gifts are not ours to keep, Craft & Release hosts speciality workshops, artist showcases and an array of live and digital events tailored to helping artists release their work into the world.

Releases are remarkable nights when drinks flow, stories are shared, and connections are made. For creatives, this series provides a space to showcase their most intimate creations with a vibrant, diverse, and engaged community.

Tell a story about an ending: the closing of a chapter, a goodbye, or a farewell to something or someone you thought would last forever. Or about an ending you didn’t see coming, or one that you knew was inevitable. Share the moment you realized something was over—the end of a romance, a phase in your life, the city you left behind, the job you walked away from, or the dream you once had. Talk about the end of an era, a friendship that quietly faded away, or the moment you let go of something you no longer needed. Recount a difficult goodbye, the one that broke you, or the one that left you with a sense of relief.
