Creative Outlet commemorates Juneteenth by telling stories and historical vignettes, showing that even though enslaved African Americans were finally free, their struggle was far from over. By having cultural and social pieces through art and culture that tell African American stories, we keep these seminal stories from being lost.

This special evening is in partnership with the African Burial Ground National Monument. Creative Outlet is honored to welcome Emmy Award-winning News Anchor @NY1 and author Cheryl Wills as their special guest.
