The Immigrant Artist Biennial: Identity Card brings a two-hour performance evening to BRIC. Five emergent new media and performance artists transform BRIC into a site of disturbance and rupture. Centering sonic, visual, and geopolitical disruptions—the aftershocks of contemporary life’s collision with colonial and imperial intervention—Memories of Disruption allows audience members to feel how these histories continue to reverberate sonically and visually through bodies, landscapes, and collective cultural memory.
