Fulton Mall Streetscape Revitalization
As part of the city’s $40 million investment in Downtown Brooklyn, Downtown Brooklyn Partnership (DBP) and NYC Parks Department have upgraded the Fulton Mall streetscape to make Brooklyn’s most famous shopping district greener and more beautiful.
This work brings a key element of our Public Realm Action Plan to fruition, and enhances Fulton Mall as a thriving shopping district and vibrant public space that serves all New Yorkers.
This $8M public investment includes:
- Enlarged planting beds with new plantings
- New benches
- Permeable pavers around planting beds (the sidewalks will not be repaved)
