DBP launches new Make It in Brooklyn | Business Resilience Series

The Business Resilience Series is curated to provide entrepreneurs with the tools needed to thrive.

February 17, 2022

DBP announced a new Make It in Brooklyn Business Resilience Series that will highlight Brooklyn’s entrepreneurial spirit, bringing together Brooklyn-based founders and established industry experts for moderated discussions on pathways to business growth.

In honor of Black History Month, the series launches with Building Black Businesses in Brooklyn, a virtual panel discussion featuring prominent Black entrepreneurs, including: Michelle Cadore, co-founder of Da Spot NYC and CEO of YES I AM Inc.; Keith Forest, community engagement, marketing, and PR strategist at NY Beauty Suites; and Delroy Levy, CEO and founder of Likkle More Jerk. Monique T. Marshall, host of Black to Business, a podcast that focuses on helping aspiring Black entrepreneurs, will moderate the conversation. Panelists will share their businesses’ origin stories, discuss the efficacy of available resources, and the future of businesses in a post-pandemic landscape, followed by a Q&A with the online audience. Their expertise can provide guidance on marketing, resources, and scaling for fresh entrepreneurs.

Make It in Brooklyn | Business Resilience Series: Building Black Businesses in Brooklyn will be live on Zoom at 11AM, February 24. Register now.
