Your Guide to Valentine’s Day 2018
Fall in love with Downtown Brooklyn this year
February 12, 2018
Oh goody, Valentine’s Day is here yet again. Whether happily in love, happily single, or anything in between, making plans can be stressful, which is why we’re back again this year with our best suggestions for fun stuff, no matter who you’re with (including yourself)!
Swipe right with drinks at one of our local bars. Enjoy the intimate ambience of Livingston Manor (pictured above) or get cozy high above Downtown Brooklyn at Kimoto Rooftop, or at one of our many hotel bars.
It doesn’t get more classic than a trip to the movies. BAM Rose Cinema features Valentine’s perennials Love Jones (pictured above) and Bringing Up Baby, while over at Alamo Drafthouse there’s a whole slew of events and specials, including an interactive Moulin Rouge movie party.
We all need more wine in our lives - particularly on Valentine’s Day. Discover true love (for wine) with a healthy selection at Wright & Goebel or Urban Uncorked. If you’re feeling like a cozy night in, let the experts at Wine Legend (above) help you pick a bottle to take home (delivery is always an option, too).
Fire up with a unique experience: learn to blow glass and try it yourself at UrbanGlass’s Valentine’s Day special tour + class. The event also promises chocolates - just don’t get too close to the fire or you’ll be a hunk of burnin’ love!
Whatever you choose to do, remember that Valentine’s Day is all about spreading the love. It’s “the Brooklyn way,” after all, so it’ll probably come naturally to you.
