Our Make It in Brooklyn pitch contests have awarded over $90,000 to local entrepreneurs, several of which have gone on to make lucrative exits, receive additional funding, or scale their businesses.
Our mission at Downtown Brooklyn Partnership is to support the success of entrepreneurs and small business owners in the borough by hosting events that bring small businesses the seed-funding, mentorship and connections it takes to make it here in Brooklyn. This is done through pitch contests and networking events with entrepreneurs, business owners, venture capitalists, and other key players to foster economic growth across the Brooklyn innovation corridor.
