With support from Powerhouse Arts staff\, attendees will craft a pop-up paper scene that recreates the feeling of moving through virtual space\, or that captures the sensation of stepping inside a painting. Through folding\, layering\, and storytelling\, participants will experiment with paper engineering to bring imagined masterpieces to life. \n\n\n\n\nDrop in anytime to make artwork for yourself\, friends\, or family. All ages are welcome and encouraged to create with us.\n\n\n\nArt Where You Are is a seasonal outreach program that brings free\, accessible art-making pop-ups directly into neighborhoods throughout Brooklyn. The program meets community members where they live and gather — in NYCHA housing developments\, public parks\, plazas\, and local businesses — providing hands-on creative experiences for individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
